CERES Community Environment Park is an award‐winning, not-for‐profit, environment park and urban farm located by the Merri Creek in East Brunswick, Melbourne. Once a landfill site and wasteland, today CERES is a thriving, vibrant community. With over 450,000 visitors a year, CERES is the most visited environmental centre in Australia.
CERES Excursions and Incursions team have been delivering environmental and cultural education programs to students and adults for over 35 years. Each year we reach over 62,000 people who come to CERES for education programs and tours. CERES Incursion staff visit over 13,000 students in schools delivering sustainability and cultural incursion and leadership programs. The team has nine permanent staff and a pool of 30+ casual educators. Our wide range of programs connect students to the natural world with an emphasis on achievable actions to environmental problems.
We are seeking someone with experience in delivering education programs to school students (primary and secondary).
Do you have a good understanding of climate change, its causes, impacts and solutions? Are you approachable with excellent communication skills? We need someone to deliver our climate and energy programs to school groups in a compassionate and professional manner, and work as part of the team to help things run smoothly.
